About my class

The LEGO sets will provide challenging and hands-on activities for my dual language Title 1 students who are currently learning remotely. Presently, all of my students are participating in remote learning from home with limited materials. My community of students thrive on the challenge of critical and creative thinking skills. They take risks by providing outside of the box questions and solutions to the science and math activities in their grade level curriculum. The LEGO sets will further enhance and bring forth increased integrative learning as they build STEM projects from existing models along with applying their math and science learning. In addition, my students will also be encouraged to create project based activities and STEM activities to extend their critical thinking skills in addition to building leadership abilities. The LEGO sets will provide increased learning opportunities by promoting class participation, collaborative class discussions and increase student engagement while my students are learning from home remotely during these challenging times with the pandemic. By donating to my project, you will help my students improve their understanding of math and science concepts. You will also help my students initiate their journey into project based learning and STEM learning.
