This project is important and will make a difference in my students’ learning by providing an area that students can gather to learn together. This carpet will be a community gathering spot where each student has their own designated spot. On this carpet, we will learn, laugh, and cry. We will host morning meeting and whole group lessons on this carpet. Not only will this carpet assist my upcoming students, but it will affect students from years to come. This will be an investment that students will appreciate and ultimately feel comfortable and safe when learning in my classroom.
