With the restrictions the virus has imposed on our schools, visiting the library as a class is not a viable option for our students right now. The Browse Mobile will allow me to bring books to the classrooms in a library-like fashion. Instead of just bringing a small selection on a standard library cart, I will be able to offer a number of picture books, level readers, and chapter books with display options provided by the racks and baskets on the mobile cart. The kids will be able to "browse" the cart and make a selection just right for them. Having self-selected books to bring home is crucial for a love of reading. The cart will not only allow our in-school hybrid kids to select titles, but will provide an efficient tool for presenting books to our online students (we can do a Browse Mobile tour!) and our families when they come in for materials pick up days. The new titles will be eye-catching on our new display cart!
