The materials listed will be used in my classroom. Since I teach pre-k, many of my students who enter my class are coming to school for the very first time! I think it is part of my job to make coming to school exciting and make sure each day is full of opportunities to explore and discover. To me, one of the most important things a child should get to do is CREATE things. I believe each child should get many opportunities to use their hands and imagination in school, every day. In my school, our Preschoolers don't get to go to the Art class like the Kindergarten-5th graders do. So, I make it a daily thing for them to be immersed in art every day. Having these materials will help me introduce art projects and center ideas that are purposeful and fun for my kids.
