Our students select an item they would like to work towards, we agree upon how many tokens they will need to trade in for that item. Our students respond positively to this incentive reward system and it create success for them in school. Some examples of what these items on the list will be used for are as followed - we have several students who will be working towards the LOL items on the list. All of our students have individual education plans (IEP) that calls for fidgets to be used so they can be successful in class. Many of our students have chosen the bubble timers and the simple fidget toys to work toward those for a reward. Some of the students have difficulty waiting to collect the number of tokens it takes for the big items so we use the squishies and a token for a daily reward to keep them engaged and motivated. We will be using the secret message jewelry kit for those students who's reward is to do an activity with a preferred staff member. We have another student who is talented in art mediums. He will work towards the sketch and drawing kit along with the wire bound book for sketching. Students can trade in their tokens on the last day of the week. So if something is worth 10 token within 2 weeks the student can trade in the tokens for the item. All the items that come in multiplies will be broken up so we have a supply that should last for several months.
