As an educator and mathematician, I am tasked with giving projects that require students to think beyond the lines on the paper to apply their knowledge. During this pandemic things have been a little different. The projects that I used to assign, I must do it virtually. The Macbook with its features will give me the ability to create digital projects by using Desmos and other applications. This will aid students to apply their knowledge of sin, cosine, and tangent to real life applications; beyond rote memorization. The use of the Macbook will also aid me as an educator to present instruction virtually using Zoom as well graphing applications so that the learning can continue. As we transition to second semester with virtually learning, the Macbook will help me to run more programs simultaneously with Zoom to provide clear and effective instruction for my students. Thank you to everyone who will donate.
