I teach students with different learning abilities. These include ESL(students whose first language is not English), students with special needs, and accelerated students. The ESL students need to complete activities on a computer program to help increase their knowledge of English and help prepare them for testing. Many students also need text to speech accommodations. Headphones will allow them to listen to the text and get the support they need without distracting others. My students also use a computer program with individual learning paths twice a week. The headphones would greatly help with this practice.
