While we are learning virtually for the coming months, students need their own materials to use at their house. For example, students need their own set of books to read at home during our 'read to self' time. In addition, students need their own set of math counters, etc. When we are able to return to school, students will each need their own materials to ensure social distancing. For example, students will need their own masks that can hang on their desks, their own bottles of sanitizer, etc. By donating to this project, you are helping to brighten the lives of students who have had to completely relearn what it means to 'go to school' this year. I drop off bags of supplies to each student (at home) at least once per month - I would love to include these great learning tools! Our school is a Title 1 school meaning that more than half of the students come from low-income homes and therefore, cannot always supply the necessary tools for learning. Thank you for considering a donation to our (virtual) classroom!
