These materials will help scholars learn different physical education activities and improve their team building skills. Being at a small Charter school we do not have an indoor gym or much gym equipment. The volleyball nets will allow the scholars to learn to play different games such as volleyball, badminton, and tetherball. The materials requested will also help our school sports teams. Having no indoor gym takes away from what games we can play or practice when the weather is bad, so the materials will allow our physical education department and sports department to continue to grow despite the weather. Our school volleyball team has been around for the past 4 years and have had to practice outdoors each day throughout that time. Having reliable equipment and nets will make it easier to practice and play outdoors.
