These tools will be used to assist students in crisis to learn how to self-regulate more effectively. For example, stress balls will be used to improve student's ability to concentrate in class and help process frustration. The aroma therapy will be used to help students struggling with anxiety to improve their physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. The paint set will be used a a therapeutic coping strategy to help students express feelings and emotions which they struggle with. The goal of the sensory room is to provides a safe and supportive space in which students can process their internal conflicts.
