I was one of the first teachers in our school to receive a promethean board when they were new, way back in 2008. I still have the same board today. It breaks down almost weekly, and has been worked on several times. The pens are broken, and the one that does work is taped. That makes it hard to do lessons from the board. Many of our lessons are internet based and it is hard when I do not have the tools to work with. I have many visual learners and this board would be AMAZING for their learning experience. This Promethean Board is a touch board, which will eliminate the use of the pens and my students can be more interactive in class. This also helps my visual learners to see and manipulate our lessons. We also use the board for our brain breaks, these allow students to watch a movement video. This allows them to be up and move a bit if classes are too long. This board would also help with virtual learning in case we have to move to that type of learning. I can have zoom meeting from school or my students can receive meetings in the classroom.
