All of my students are learning to set goals to work towards using hard work and self-management strategies. In my Emotional Support classroom, the students would benefit from added support and incentives to work towards when setting goals. With these incentives students would have reminders that their behaviors can affect their ability to earn items. For individual students, I chose fidgets that they can earn to have at their desks. However, I also want to teach the importance of working together as a team or family. As a class we are learning to stick together and help each other. Therefore, I chose two flexible seating options that the students can earn as a class. These will be placed in the classroom and all students will be able to use them. The flexible seating will show the students that if they work together, great things can be accomplished!
