Many of the students I teach are ELL (English Language Learners), many of them struggle to read in English and I would like to build a classroom library with a variety of books that can encourage them to continue reading in English or Spanish. The first step in increasing reading ability is to get student to read more whether in their Native language or English. All of the books were chosen with a student(s) in mind. They understand how important it is to take care of the books in our classroom and I know they will greatly appreciate having more books to choose from that are diverse and that they can connect to!

About my class
