Due to COVID-regulations, many items in our classroom needed to be removed such as rugs, flexible seating options, pillows, etc. All of these items made the classroom warm and inviting, and helped the students to feel comfortable and at home while learning. They were able to choose different spots around the room to work at, which gave them a sense of choice and responsibility. These individual sit-upons will be a great alternative because students will be 1-1 with a sit-upon, it can be sanitized accordingly, and they can bring it around the room with them to sit and learn in different spots other than their desks or the cold floor!
