Your generosity helped provide creative materials for the Kinders in Room 506 to learn with joy and excitement!\r\n\r\nThis group LOVES to create! Since they arrived, I stocked the \"Creation Table\" with all the materials. The colored pencils, mini markers, twistable crayons, construction paper and glue sticks are used everyday! These materials allow the students to express themselves in different ways!\r\n\r\nUsing the dry erase markers, the children demonstrate their thinking on their whiteboards throughout the day. The playdoh became monsters while the tissue squares became colorful fall leaves. The construction paper has been used for many projects, most recently, our \"Combinations of 5 Turkeys\"!\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible for Team 506. Each time they are used, different creations are constructed. This inspires the next engineer with their creation. While working in pairs, conversations consist of problem-solving and collaboration. The Snap-Bots and the Clip & Create have sparked creativity, confidence and interpersonal skills while working with their peers. The Waste Management vest and hat encouraged the children's imaginative play as they were immersed in the theme. The garbage truck, recycling pattern block set and Earth Day craft further enhanced this new area. Playing in this center helped build their interpersonal skills with their peers. What a win!\r\n \r\nThe liquid water colors and spray bottles were such fun tools to create the background of a new art project and the fluorescent paint and paint sticks were a fun addition to our Glow day!\r\n\r\nAs you can see, each item from this project has had a positive impact on the Kinders in my classroom and the ones to come.
