The intersection of writing, reading and the arts provides students with opportunities to understand their potential within a global society while exploring digital tools. The iPad Pro will encourage new directions in collaboration as we build Graphic Design and Illustration concepts within the curriculum. Drawing demonstrations and organization of student work will provide students with excellence in instruction. As student work is organized, it will be shared with young readers in our urban community. Resilient, creative and innovative, our students have ideas that inspire and serve others through the arts. Our students have worked through challenges in our virtual learning to contribute to the United Way Book Project, the Milwaukee Public Library Teen Virtual Exhibition, and the Martin Luther King Jr Art competition. Our visual art students have received awards and demonstrated school spirit by contributing to school art competitions. Initially, I will be integrating the iPad Pro into Visual Art demonstrations with the brilliant drawing and teaching capabilities. In the future, as we work together within our art studios, students will have access to the iPad Pro as we work on collaborative assignments in our courses and in our Fine Arts Club.
