This project will provide my students a charging tower along with 4 portable charger and cables. This will allow me to keep the batteries charged and then when students Chromebooks need a charge they will still be able to work where they are without being near a plug. Students will be able to take the portable battery and cord to their desk. These are heavy batteries and will also be barcoded so that students may check them out to use in other classes as needed. These will serve a dual purpose of eliminating downtime created by lack of device charge, and eliminating the need to be near a wall outlet to charge devices.
