Our math class and available resources need a face lift. I'm eager to incorporate materials that will help keep students healthy, engaged, and active while learning and also motivate them, creating a desire to delve into our math concepts. Incorporating standing desks and modern, hands-on manipulatives will help meet the sensory needs of students while they simultaneously work to master the math curriculum. These tools will provide meaningful hands on, multi sensory learning experiences that promote learning and gain and retain student interest. These tools can be used virtually and in person, offering maximum benefit for all settings and environments. We currently offer online classes to all students and a good portion of our special needs students are coming on campus as safety protocols allow. These students have been out of school for far too long. Your funding will help me create a welcoming, exciting environment that promotes learning and gets these children eager to return to the classroom.
