My students love to express themselves through art. Our art learning center is always the first one to get filled! They absolutely love painting at the easel, but they also like creating through a variety of materials. Art helps them in many different ways. While they think it is just fun, art helps them in many aspects. It encourages fine motor skills, neural development, and problem-solving skills. They get to experience things first hand, like how to create colors from the three primary colors, experience texture or learn vocabulary in a real context. It also allows them to process their world, and sometimes even deal with their emotions in a safe way. Thank you for helping them develop their creativity!
