I want students to develop a love and appreciation for Math and how it impacts many aspects of our daily lives today and tomorrow. With the right tools and resources, my students will become active individuals and influential members of their community. To help all my students succeed and be prepare for the next level of their academic lives, I want to provide them with all the resources for their toolbox for learning, which can be accessible, fun, engaging, and help them be successful. To achieve this mission, I am requesting chromebooks for my students. With daily access to chromebooks, my students will be able to submit assignments on-time, engage in the live instruction with teachers on multi-remote platforms, and remain updated with access to the latest online resources and technology. In addition, my students will be able to engage in the interactive learning taking place across the rest of the city, communicate and engage in the same projects and assignments as their fellow peers, gain access to differentiated instruction that is right for their learning style, and be able to achieve their goals together in an inclusive environment. As teachers, we are able to support students in their academic growth, monitor their daily progress, and provide immediate and effective feedback through platforms such as Google Classroom and interactive apps such as Jamboard and virtual notebooks. I want to equip and provide all my students especially students with special needs with the most advanced math materials and interactive resources, so they can engage in a program that is both highly educational and fun! As part of the fundamental basis and foundation of our societal existence, we want to continue to further train and develop the next generation of brilliant mathematicians for the future!
