Please help in the process of donating headphones with microphones to help encourage my students to spread their wings while holding onto their creativity. With my observations, they are noticeably more engaged in their daily goals of working independently and are less distracted by their peers when they are given an opportunity to stay focused on the task at hand and hear what it is they are to complete. My students will be able to simply give better focus on the academic material at hand, and not have to worry about not hearing a story be read aloud or by not understanding the directions of the assignment. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy, reading as well as desire to learn while using new technology with ease and effort.
