Our class is part of a Spanish immersion program. Students have been learning Spanish since kindergarten, now they are in fifth grade and are needing to expand knowledge by reading and writing in Spanish. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of Spanish books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level and to improve their Spanish vocabulary. This project will help 38 students some from low income households, not only to read but to expand their vocabulary and writing skills in Spanish.
