My students will have the opportunity to use different cooking utensils and cooking methods. They can learn the proper way to prepare meals. Students in my classroom like to participate in hands-on activities. They like to engage with others by working together. My classroom kitchen was recently renovated and I am working towards getting new items in the kitchen. This is my first year teaching at this school and most of the items were very old and outdated. Cooking in the classroom can be so fun by watching the students work together, have passion while preparing food, and enjoy the final product! Students benefit greatly from a hands-on approach. It is very exciting when you get to plan an activity that they will enjoy. My students will love their new kitchen items and learning how to use them.
