My students are the best. Some days are better than others but that is just part of their personalities. One thing they all respond positively to is stinky stickers! The sensory aspect of them is just the ticket to keep them motivated to stay on task and complete their work. I am not trying to say this works every time, but when I had some, they were a great motivator in all areas of classroom behavior both academic and social. I am very hesitant to use edible reinforcement due to allergies, but having a broad range of scents in stickers seems to be the winning combination for my students.
