My students are bright, curious, energetic middle schoolers who each bring their own unique personalities, strengths, and learning needs into the classroom. As an 8th grade math teacher, I want my students to see math as more than a subject they have to pass. I want them to see it as something they can understand, enjoy, and be successful in.I love teaching math because there is nothing more rewarding than watching a student finally understand a concept that once seemed impossible. I enjoy finding creative ways to break down challenging skills, make learning engaging, and help students build the confidence to keep trying when the answer doesn’t come easily. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn!
