My Project The City of Chelsea was hit hard by COVID-19. Being a densely populated community, Chelsea continues to be one of the highest infected places in the state. Due to this, school is entirely remote. My goal is to make remote learning as pleasant and authentic as possible. I intend on doing my instruction from my classroom so my students can become familiar with their environment. My classroom only has a desktop computer, which will not allow me to move around the room and teach from different areas. I would also like to be able to take my computer to and from school, so I am able to do work while home and communicate with students and families after school hours. I so desperately want this school year to be effective and genuine for these children. They need their education and my hope for this year is to make my students' learning experience fun and engaging despite all the challenges we face.
