Many teachers in my school district know that scientific calculators are not as accessible as they should be. This is partly because of the income status of a typical family in this area. Many families do not know the importance of a scientific calculator in the education of their children. The need for a calculator in teaching and learning mathematics is beyond question the most critical. Many students simply can not afford one. Your help in getting a class set of scientific calculators can help these underprivileged children go a long way.
