As a community in a small remote Alaskan village, we will do a One Book project, reading The One and Only Ivan to read through. Adopting an animal in captivity, learning the history of Ivan, virtual zoo visits and conversations with zoo keepers and specialists will be included. Yet, reading aloud to students is so vital to build their language skills and more importantly love for reading and reading to learn. T-shirt messages may serve our purposes as well. Homes, here do not have much extra earnings. Can you help?
