Music Students from my school are passionate about music. Even when we have DIY instruments in our classroom, they are completely engaged in participating and performing in all aspects of the music curriculum. As a new school, we are still building the community dynamic in the program. Most of these students have never participated in classes together and are still learning the environment both in and out of the music classroom. We are working together to create a music community that represents the mission and vision of student first and innovation that the school is striving for. There are students brought together from all walks of life, but when they come in the music room I see them supporting one another and encouraging their musical exploration.
