Distance learning makes it challenging for all students to participate effectively throughout the lesson. Zoom meetings with more than 35 students make it almost impossible for teachers to know who is focused on the lesson and who has "left the building". A lot of precious instructional time is lost trying to get students to unmute or turn on their video to show they are participating. Having access to Nearpod will give all students a way to participate and stay engaged in the lesson and will give me immediate information about whom I need to provide additional support.
