Teaching Kindergarten is special because it is, for most children, their first experience in a school setting. I especially love my students because of their curiosity and excitement to learn new things! My goal each year is to make sure my students feel safe and excited to come to school each and every day. Kindergarten is the foundation of their education and I love to help my students to be excited about learning. Our school is located in a diverse low income school district. This means that obtaining proper technology and materials for the classroom can be difficult. I want to ensure that my students are provided with all they they need to be successful life long learners. My students LOVE books and hands on learning! Books allow them to ask questions, make connections, and it's an enjoyable time we spend together. Hands on learning is engaging and allows my students to learn through experience!
