The closest library that we have is currently closed due to COVID-19 so the students cannot access reading materials. We want our mobile library to include diverse and bilingual books that this children and families will be able to check out the way they would at the public library. Our kindergarten and first grade students are amazingly resilient in this time of virtual learning. Our school is next door to a park which gave us the idea to also have children check out educational games that they can play with their siblings or families. These interactive games will give the opportunity for hands on material for our students and their families to provide another method of learning.
