The materials I'm requesting will help music class continue to be fun, engaging, and safe while my PreK through fifth grade students and I have to adapt to new requirements for in-person and online learning. Many activities and concepts I normally teach will have to be greatly modified and the books, instruments, and movement materials will help the effectiveness of this. The speaker and carrying case are long overdue as the sound system in my classroom is low quality. Students have to be extra quiet as we listen to music, and being quiet isn't always the best way to experience music for young learners. Lastly, the air purifier and gloves will be invaluable as I see every student in my school and need to be extra cautious about spreading germs. These will allow us to continue to sing, chant, dance, play instruments, and work with each other in new, creative ways. By donating to my project, you will be impacting over 800 students and ensure that they're given an engaging, relaxing, fun, and safe environment while experiencing music!
