Even though my students are currently learning from home, I want them to be able to come back to music class with a new drum waiting for them. The coolest thing about a Drum Circle is that it builds community along with musicianship. It also provides an opportunity to learn about another culture. Not only will this drum benefit my 5th graders, but it will benefit the entire school! There are many ways I am able to incorporate drumming into my lessons so that all of my students get a chance to play. Providing musical experiences for my students is very important to me as a teacher, and this tubano will help do just that!
