My artists create pieces throughout the year inspired from a diverse, multicultural, multi-media art curriculum. As an artist, I know the importance of a professional, organized, and efficient art space and its direct effect on learning and success. Providing my artists with proper equipment will not only make them more comfortable in the art space, but will instill in them a sense of school pride and the understanding that at CBB we value the arts and our artists. For many of our CBB students, art is a time for them to shine; art gives them an outlet and an avenue for self-expression that they may not find in other areas of school life. When they have no words to represent their feelings, beliefs, expectations, and perspective of their world, art is there for them.
