These items will serve as a visual experience of healthy fruits and vegetables to introduce our students to nutritious foods they may other wise not be familiar with. We are hoping these items will spark curiosity and open a door to good conversations about nutrition and how important it is. Obesity is and has been on the rise in the United States for many years. A large percentage of our students come from low income families, statistically they are prone to be at higher risk of becoming obese. We are hoping this will help inspire good nutrition for years to come.
