The use of basic hygiene products such as shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and a toothbrush seem like obvious needs on one's grocery list. However, many of our students and families are socioeconomically disadvantaged, meaning that these hygiene products might not make it into the shopping cart as often as they should. Instead, parents often have to make difficult choices, such as deciding between a bottle of hand soap and a loaf of bread, when checking out at the grocery store. The goal for this project is to provide our students and families with these basic hygiene products, as they are needed now more than ever. Since school will be starting with virtual learning in the Fall, we hope to provide as many simple comforts to our students and families as possible. By contributing to this project, you will be contributing to the happiness and well-being of an entire school community.
