I have taught history for over 20 years but never have I known the details of John Lewis' incredible story until he wrote the graphic trilogy "March". By funding this project you will help young people see someone who they can empathize with lead a life of courage, conscience, and civility. This story will inspire, and it is not being funded by any of our schools. With John Lewis' "March" students will be able to walk in the shoes of a change maker. They will choose their own social justice issue and decide on how they will "March" to make a difference. When you help fund this project, you are helping to inspire the next generation. Thank you for caring and thank you for giving. Peace and love.
