Even though I haven't met my students yet, I am already concerned about the impact this pandemic has had and continues to have on them, their families, and on their overall well-being. As children enter a kindergarten classroom, they are excited and a bit nervous. Sadly, this year, I fear they will be more nervous. My job is to make them feel comfortable and safe so that they can share, learn, and grow emotionally, socially, and academically. This project will help my students identify and share feelings, as well as reflect their own individuality and celebrate each other in classroom community.

About my class
