The laptop that I am requesting for our First Grade classroom is needed in order to connect with them. We all know these are unprecedented times and therefore we need to adopt a new way of teaching through blended learning. Our blended learning model requires a remote learning component and this laptop will enable us to connect through live teaching, discussion, and expose them to language. Our laptop is 6 years old and the technology is outdated which made connecting on Google Classroom difficult at times. This laptop will help us build a stronger community of learners and help me provide social-emotional support without interruption. The daily continuity in our young learner's lives will provide stability during these trying and uncertain times we are facing.
