I plan to use Teachers Pay Teachers to find Social Emotional Learning materials to support the students in my classroom. Because of the personal and educational challenges that my students have, it is important to first meet their emotional needs so that they can learn and grow. These students need extra support in areas such as self-regulation, decision making, and calm down strategies. By providing education in these skill areas, students are better able to thrive in the school environment. With the uncertainty in education in the upcoming school year, funding towards Teacher Pay Teachers will give me the ability to support students both in person and online. I want to ensure that no matter what the future holds, the students in my class are well supported.

About my class
