2020-2021 has been a school year like any other. Many students have spent the past year away from their friends, masked, and missing out on many of the things that make school special. I would like to welcome students back in the fall to a warm inviting classroom in which they will learn history as well skills to become good humans. Many kids today do not feel seen, important, or accepted. I aim to make my classroom a place kids want to be. A place where they are comfortable thus allowing them to be their authentic selves and explore who they are. I already have a positive vibes decor and an electric fireplace in my classroom, now all I need is some comfy seating and a rug to give students a place to learn and relax.
