I am a first-year teacher to 5th and 6th grade diverse learners. I want nothing more than to have my classroom ready for these students when they come back. When a classroom looks and feels comfortable, students trust and open up to their teachers. I strongly believe a classroom should be a safe space for all students to learn. When the students come back to school having fun seats will make them feel welcome and excited to be back. Although we are not in the classroom, I want my students to know it is ready for them when they return.
