The coronavirus pandemic has forced teachers to teach online. The Surface Pro and Pen will give me the ability of controlling my presentation while easily addressing all of my student ELD needs. This will allow me to emphasis key concept through out the ELD lesson by highlighting, color coating, and displaying my lessons. The best part of integrating technology into my ELD instruction is the availability of resources to support my students with different learning needs. Students who may be struggling can benefit from the excitement and engagement offered by this tablet. I will also use the Surface Pro to promote growth in developing a strong vocabulary, which is an important area of focus for ELD students who are building their reading comprehension. I will continue to use a variety of strategies to grow readers in my classroom, in addition there are several free apps that I will use to support my students vocabulary acquisition. The surface Pro will become an amazing tool to have when teaching my students on Zoom and Google Classroom. The possibilities are endless!
