Your contribution made an incredible impact on my students and greatly enriched our students reading experiences.\r\n\r\nThe diverse collection of memoirs, novels, and graphic novels was used to support independent reading, literature circles, and social-emotional discussions. Books such as The Complete Maus, Educated, Solito, The Best We Could Do, Anne Frank's Diary, and A Cup of Water Under My Bed were used to help students explore identity, resilience, and real-world perspectives. These texts sparked meaningful conversations and allowed students to connect history and personal narratives to their own lives.\r\n\r\nGraphic novels like To Kill a Mockingbird, Coraline, El Deafo, Sisters, Frizzy, The Giver, Percy Jackson, Creepy Cat, and the Raina Telgemeier titles (Smile, Drama, Guts) were used to support reluctant readers and visual learners. Students were highly motivated to read, and these books helped build confidence, fluency, and comprehension.\r\n\r\nNovels such as The Hate U Give, The Color Purple, I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, Dear Martin, The Fault in Our Stars, Big Chicas Don't Cry, The House on Mango Street, and A Raisin in the Sun were used to deepen discussions around culture, justice, family, and identity. \r\n\r\nYour donation gave our students access to stories that reflected their experiences, broadened their perspectives, and encouraged a love of reading. The Apple Pencil allowed us to explore creative and interactive activities, while the Wipebooks and erasers became an integral part of our daily learning.
