I teach middle school science and math at an innovative community charter school in a high need, diverse neighborhood. Previously these subjects were not among the most successful for the scholars at the site and it is my dream to improve the STEAM program by providing access to the best instruction, collaboration and creative solutions possible for these striving young people. I wish to bring the big ideas of science and math alive for my scholars, illustrate the work of scientists and mathematicians of the past and help create world changers of the future!

About my class
