Examples of calculations, balancing chemical reactions, and drawing out diagrams are daily occurrences during class. Anyone who has visited my classroom knows that I am always open to helping answer my students' questions, which usually requires a visual explanation. By donating to this project, you will be allowing me the opportunity of using a virtual whiteboard with my students as well as making face-to-face contact with them during our class meetings. It will help us feel like we are actually in the classroom! Last spring was thrown together quickly. I was fortunate to meet my students in person, albeit briefly, at the beginning of the trimester. This year, we won't have that opportunity as we are starting the year remotely. One of my main goals each year is to get to know each of my students as individuals and help them feel comfortable in their learning environment. Although this project will not replace the in-person interactions we are used to, I hope that it will allow me to connect with my students and let them know that I am here for them, no matter what.
