My amazing students worked incredibly hard last spring when my school went completely to distance learning. As we move into the fall, distance learning will still play a part, either for all students during times of spikes or for some students who are not able to attend in-person due to individual health reasons. One aspect that will allow me to deliver recorded lessons to my students is a high-quality audio recording system. This project will provide an audio transmitter system, a wireless microphone, and an adapter, all of which will 1) allow me to record my voice as I work through the lesson on my writeable computer screen and 2) provide all students an equal opportunity to stay up-to-date with their mathematics studies. Even in the scenario where we eventually return to all students in the classroom, this project will fund my ability to continue to record my lessons and post them to my class website for students who are absent due to illness, activities, or unforeseen circumstances. That way, no student will be left behind!
