Every classroom needs a robust classroom library to ensure students have interesting, challenging books at the ready. For my classroom, I need to ensure that the books I provide my 2nd graders are books they can see themselves in. Everyone deserves to be able to see someone who looks like them in ALL media. This project will help me, as a new 2nd grade teacher, supply my classroom library with diverse, inclusive children's books. My students rely on my classroom library as a resource for independent reading, books to check out and borrow for home, daily lessons, and more! Thank you for your time and consideration in helping me provide the best possible educational experiences for my scholars!
