These school supplies will help me provide my students with the basic materials needed for distance learning success. Since a majority of students come form low income households that were affected by Covid-19, I want to relieve some of the financial stress on families by providing them with backpacks filled with materials that my students will need to succeed. The diverse books requested will be added to our classroom library to teach and encourage empathy while representing and celebrating unique cultures,disabilities and learning styles. These books will be used during our remote learning for read alouds.
